OSSSC PEO, Junior Assistant notification 2023 out; online application to begin on Feb 24 

The long wait of the job seekers has finally come to an end with the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) releasing the official notification for combined recruitment examination-2023 for the district cadre posts of Junior Assistant and Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO).

"Applications are invited online for Combined Recruitment Examination-2023 for the district cadre posts of Junior Assistant (JA) and Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) in various district establishments under different departments of Government of Odisha," the OSSSC said in a short notice released on Wednesday.

As per the commission, registration/re-registration/submission of online application for the posts will commence on February 24, 2023. The last date for submission of application is March 27, 2023. 

"Applications will be received through online mode only," the commission said, adding, "Interested candidates are advised to apply online by logging in the OSSSC web portal."

"The details of vacancies, scale of pay, age, eligibility and other terms and conditions will be available in the detailed advertisement to be published in the web portal of the Commission www.osssc.gov.in," the commission added.

Earlier, it was learnt that the Empowered Committee at Government level had approved filling up of 2318 vacant posts of PEOs after receiving the vacancy position from all districts.
