OSSSC CRE 2023: Applications invited for Livestock Inspector, Forester and Forest Guard; check details

The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission has released a fresh advertisement for the recruitment to the district cadre posts of for Livestock Inspector, Forester and Forest Guard under the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) 2023.  

The registration/re-registration and online submission of application will commence on October 26 through the OSSSC website www.osssc.gov.in.

Vacancies 

As many as 719 vacancies of Livestock Inspectors will be filled up. The details vacancy for forester and forest guard will be released soon. 

Salary

Livestock Inspector- Pay Scale Rs 21700, Pay Matrix Level-5, Cell-1 
Forester- Pay Scale Rs 25500, Pay Matrix Level-7, Cell-1 
Forest Guard- Pay Scale Rs 19900, Pay Matrix Level-4, Cell-1 

Eligibility Criteria 

Minimum Educational Qualification for Livestock Inspector- The candidate must have passed the +2 Vocational Courses in the field of Animal Husbandry or Dairy or Poultry or Meat or Animal Production or +2 Science from a recognised Educational Institution or Board or Council or University and the Gomitra candidates must in have passed +2 Science or + 2 Vocational Courses m the allied Animal Husbandry activities with satisfactory performance in Artificial Insemination(A.I.) activities for three years under National Project for Cattle and Buffalo Breeding(NPCBB). 

Age 

Livestock Inspector: The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not be above the age of 38 years as on 1 January 2023.

Forester: The candidate must have passed +2 Science from recognised university, Institution or Board as the case may be with knowledge in basic Computer skills.

Forest Guard: The candidate must have passed High School Certificate Examination (10+) from recognized Board or Institution.
