The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has announced to conduct the counselling for choice of post and District/Division for Group-'C' posts under the Combined Recruitment Examination-2021 from October 12, 2022.

The candidates will be called for counselling in order of merit to choose their posts and Districts/Divisions cadre. The counselling will be held at the office of the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission in Bhubaneswar. 

In the first phase, the counselling will be held on October 12 and 13 in two sittings starting from 10am and 2pm.

"Admission Letters for the purpose of counselling have been uploaded in the Commission's web portal. The details of the schedule of counselling and venue are available in the Admission Letter. The candidates may download the admission letter by logging in the Commission's web portal with their User ID and Password to participate in the counselling," the commission said.

Instructions For Candidates 

1. The candidates must attend the counselling on the date and time fixed and wait till their turn comes. They must come with the Admission/Intimation Letter along with Aadhaar card/Voter ID card/any other Government Identity Proof. 

2. Those who are unable to come for the counselling on the date and time fixed may send their authorized representative with authorization letter. The representative shall come with his/her Adhaar card/Voter ID card/any other Government Identity Proof to attend the counselling.(Sample authorization letter is given at Annexure-1). 

3. Late comers shall loose opportunity of choices for the Posts and Districts/Divisions. They will have to give their choices/ for the posts and Districts/Divisions from those choices available at that point of time. Since counselling will start at 10.00 AM/2.00PM, as applicable, late corners will get deprived of exercising their choice to that extent. 

4. Candidates or his/her authorized representative, as the case may be, remaining absent shall be debarred from the counselling and their candidature shall be rejected. 

5. No request for extension of time shall be allowed under any circumstances.

6. The candidates/their representative are required to give their choice for the posts and the Districts/Divisions cadre considering the vacancy position as mentioned in Annexure-I to V of the Advertisement as per their order of preference. No further request for change of choices shall be allowed. 

7. The decision of the Commission regarding allocation of posts and Districts/Divisions shall be final.
