The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced the schedule for conduct of the main written examination for recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector of Police, Handwriting Bureau, CID, CB.

The main written examination for the recruitment drive will be held on November 28, 2021 (Sunday) and November 29, 2021 (Monday) in Bhubaneswar, informed the OSSC in a notice on Saturday.

According to the programme schedule, candidates who have applied for the posts will appear for Paper I General English (Subjective type) and Paper II Odia Language (Subjective type) in one sitting from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm on November 28. The reporting time at the examination centre is 9 am. 

Similarly, Paper III General Studies (Objective type) to be conducted through CBRE (computer-based recruitment examination) mode will be held on November 29 from 10 am to 1 pm. Candidates will have to report to the centre at 8.30 am. 

The Commission said that the centre of examination for the examination will be intimated to the candidates in their admission letter.

“The candidates are required to download two admission letters for 28.11.2021 and 29.11.2021 separately to appear the examination on both the days from two different links to be provided by the Commission in the website,” the Commission said. 

“Candidates concerned are advised to download their Admission letter from the link to be provided in the Home Page (What's New) of the website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in from 22.11.2021 onwards by using their 'user Id' and 'password'. The application number is the user Id & Date of Birth is the Password,” it added. 

Notably, a total of four posts (UR- 02, SC- 01, ST- 01) will be filled up on contractual basis through the recruitment drive. The selected candidates will initially get a monthly remuneration of Rs 16,880.
