Job aspirants, who have appeared for the recruitment examination for the posts of Odisha Secretariat Junior Executive Assistant (JEA) under the Home Department, are now eagerly waiting for the results.
The language test for the recruitment examination to fill up 130 posts was conducted by the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) from November 29 to December 2 at designated examination centres.
Those who will qualify the language test will be called for the next phase of the selection process- typing test and computer skill test. However, the OSSC has announced deferment of the typing and computer skill test without citing any specific reason.
In a notice, the OSSC said the skill and typing test, which was earlier scheduled to be held on January 4 and 5, 2023, has been rescheduled to second fortnight of January 2023.
“The Typing Test in English and Computer Skill Test for the post of Junior Executive Assistant which was scheduled to be held on 04.01.2023 & 05.01.2023 is rescheduled to second fortnight of January, 2023,” the notice read.
“The exact date of the test will be intimated in due course. Candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in regularly for further updates in this regard,” the notice added.
The answer keys of the language test were released by the OSSC earlier this month. It is now expected that the result of the language test will be declared in the last week of December 2022 or the first week of January, 2023.
