OSSC releases tentative exam schedule from September to December 2024; know key dates and updates

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) recently published the tentative examination schedule for the months of September, October, November, and December 2024.

Here’s a preview of the tentative schedule for September, October, November, and December 2024 – 

• Main written examination (Language & GS) for the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination, 2023 is scheduled to be held on September 1, 2024.

• Assistant Training Officer, 2024 for Degree & Diploma’s main written examination is set to take place on September 2, 2024.

• Main written examination for Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent Recruitment Examination for Specialist Posts, 2024 is planned for September 13 & 14, 2024.

• Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination, 2024 preliminary examination on October 6, 2024.

• Main written examination for posts having physical tests is slated for October 17, 18, 21, 22, and 23, 2024.

• Preliminary examination of Statistical Assistant under the Directorate of Agriculture and Food Production, 2023 might happen in October/November/December.

• Junior Enforcement Officer & Junior Accountant, 2023 preliminary examination may take place in October/November.

• Main written examination for Assistant Training Officer, 2024 (ITI only), is scheduled for October/November.

• Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination for Specialist Posts, 2023, main written examination is anticipated in November/December.

• Technical posts under the Directorate of ESI scheme, 2023, main written examination may occur in November/December.

• Traffic Constable under the State Transport Authority, 2024, preliminary examination may take place in October/November/December. However, the main written examination may happen in December 2024/January 2025.

• Combined Technical Service Recruitment Examination, 2023 for JE (Civil) & JE (Mechanical) preliminary examination may be conducted in October/November/December but it is subject to Court order. However, the main written examination may be conducted in December 2024/January 2025 but is subject to Court order.

• Main written examination for the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination, 2024 may be conducted in December 2024/January 2025.

• Preliminary examination for Combined Technical Service Recruitment Examination, 2024 (JE Civil& JE MVI) is likely to be scheduled in December 2024/January 2025, however, it is subject to Court order. The main written examination may be held in 2025.

• Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination for Specialist Posts, 2023, not covered under CGL specialist rules, the main written examination is likely to get scheduled in November/December.
