OSSC recruitment; Registrations begin for Junior Stenographer, Typist and other posts

The registrations for Combined Recruitment Examination for Junior Stenographer, Junior Typist and Typist-cum- Scribe Assistant has started from Friday. The recruitment examination will be conducted by the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC). The recruitments will be for various departments of Odisha government, the official OSSC notification read.

The last date for completion of online registration is May 3 and last date for submission of online application form is May 6, 2025.

Junior Stenographer (EIC, Water Resources, Bhubaneswar): 24 posts

Pay Scale: Rs 25,500- 81,100 (Level 7)

Junior Stenographer (Advocate General, Odisha, Cuttack): 40 posts

Pay Scale: Rs 25,500- 81,100 (Level 7)

Junior Stenographer (Directorate of Treasuries and Inspection): 3 posts

Pay Scale: Rs 25,500- 81,100 (Level 7)

Junior Grade Typist (Directorate of Prisons and Correctional Services): 5 posts
Pay Scale: Rs 19,900-63,200

Typist-cum-Scribe Assistant (Law Department, Bhubaneswar):  2 posts
Pay Scale: Rs 19,900-63,200

Other Details

The examination fee has been exempted for all categories of candidates. The appointments shall be on regular basis carrying the level of Pay mentioned.
