OSSC recruitment: Date released for CTSRE 2024 prelims, check latest update

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced the date for the conduct of preliminary examination of Combined Technical Services Recruitment Examination (CTSRE) 2024. As per the latest notice, the examination will be conducted on May 18, 2025. The examination will be conducted in OMR mode across Odisha.

The CTSRE 2024 will be conducted in one sitting, the official OSSC notification read. The candidates have been advised to report at the respective centres by 8:30 am as the gates will be closed at 9:15 am.

The total duration of the CTSRE 2024 is 150 minutes and it will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12 pm on May 18, 2025. As per the OSSC notification, the candidates will have to appear the examination carrying 150 marks for the same number of questions.

Moreover, there will be a negative marking of 0.25  for each wrong answer. The OSSC has advised candidates to download their admission letter from the official website of OSSC. They can download the admit cards from May 14, 2025.

How To Download Admit Card?

The candidates can download their respective admit cards from the official OSSC website by using their User ID and password to appear in the examination.

The OSSC had earlier issued advisory for PwD candidates who opted for taking assistance of scribe in the online application and having a disability of not less than 40 percent of permanent nature. In order to take permission of OSSC for the use of scribe, the candidates may apply in the prescribed format along with the required documents and their admission letter and send them to the official ID- ossc.od@nic.in by May 15, 2025.

“No requested will be considered after May 15. No other mode of communication will be entertained in this regard. Under no circumstances, a PwD candidate will be allowed to use a scribe without  taking permission of the Commission,”OSSC notice read.
