OSSC Recruitment 2022: Apply For 87 Excise Sub Inspector Posts, Check Eligibility & Last Date

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has started inviting online applications from intending candidates to fill up 87 posts of sub-inspector of excise as initial appointee under the Excise Commissioner, Cuttack. 

The online registration, payment of examination fees and submission of application have commenced on March 9. The last date for submission of application is April 22. 

Vacancy Details:

UR-46(W-15), SEBC-15(W-05), SC-11(W-04), ST-15(W-05), Total- 87(W-29)

Minimum Educational Qualification: 

The candidate must have passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised University.

Age Limit:

The minimum age for the post is 21 years and the maximum age is 3 8 years as on 01.01.2021. Relaxation will be given to reserved categories as per norms.

Applicants have to go through the detail advertisement and fill up the online application form through the website www.ossc.gov.in. 

Examination Fee:

The candidates other than SC/ST category have to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs 200. 

Salary:

The appointment will be initially as Initial Appointees carrying a consolidated pay of Rs 15,000 per month in the first year. The pay is subject to revision as per decision of the Government of Odisha from time to time.

Selection Process:

The selection of candidates will be based on Written Exam (Stage I), Physical Standard Measurement and Physical Test (Stage II) and Certificate Verification (Stage III). The written examination will be through CBRE(Computer Based Recruitment Examination)mode.
