OSSC Recruitment 2021: Registration Begins For Weaving Supervisor Posts, Check Vacancy Details

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has issued a detailed advertisement for the recruitment to the posts of weaving supervisor in the office of Director of Textiles, under Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts Department, Odisha.

As per the notification, six posts of weaving supervisor will be filled up and the candidates will be recruited as initial appointee.

Already the online registration process has begun for the posts from today (December 24, 2021) and the last date is January 23, 2022. The closing date for submission of online application is January 25, 2022.

Vacancy Details:

Remuneration: The appointment to these posts will be as initial appointee carrying a remuneration of Rs 25, 300 per month (for 1st year).

Age: Since the vacancies are meant for SC and ST, the minimum age for the post is 20 years and maximum age is 37 years as on 1.1.2021. The upper age is relaxable by 10 years for the candidates belonging to PwD category and the total period of service in Defence Services (beyond 32 years as on 1.1.2021) in case of Ex-servicemen. (To be eligible, candidates must not have been born earlier than January 2, 1984 and not later than January 1, 2001).

A candidate can only avail one type of age relaxation as per rule.

Plan Of Examination: The recruitment to this post will comprise of two stages- Written and Certification verification

-Candidates numbering three times of the vacancies will be shortlisted in order of merit, category-wise basing on their performance in written examination. There shall be no viva-voce test.

The date, time and venue of the Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) will be informed to the candidates in the admission letter, which will be made available in the website of the Commission.
