The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released the schedule of the main examinations for the posts of Inspector of Legal Metrology and Laboratory Assistant and Computer Operator-cum-Store Keeper. 

As per the latest notification of the Commission, the main written examination for the post of Inspector of Legal Metrology & Laboratory Assistant-2017 will be held on October 7 and 8, 2021 through Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode at different places. 

The Paper-I Composite Paper (Odia, English, General Studies) will be held from 10 am to 12 pm while Paper-II (Technical Paper) will be conducted from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. 

Applicants can download their Admission Letter from the website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in from October 1, 2021 onwards. They have to click on the link provided on the Home page (What's New) and download the admit card by entering Application No. & Date of Birth.

The PwD candidates will have to submit the necessary documents to the Commission by September 28 to use the facility of scribe during the examination.

The Commission in another notification stated that the main written examination for the post of Computer Operator-cum-Store Keeper-2016 which was earlier scheduled to be held on September 22, 2021 has been rescheduled for October 3, 2021 through Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode at different places of the State. 

The General Awareness paper will be held from 1.30 pm to 3 pm on October 3. Candidates have been asked to report at the examination centre by 12 pm. 

Candidates can download their Admission Letter from the website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in from September 27, 2021 onwards.

“Protocol of Covid-19 like use of sanitizer, social distancing and wearing of the three-layer mask must be adhered to during the examination,” the notification read.
