OSSC Recruitment 2021: Fresh Dates Announced For 11 Major Exams, Check Details

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has scheduled and re-scheduled several major recruitment examinations to be conducted during the month of August 2021. 

In a fresh notification issued today, the Commission announced schedules for prelims and mains of as many as 11 recruitment examinations. The written examinations are slated to be held between August 3 and 27.

While the written examination for the post of Junior Assistant under ULB (special drive)-2019 will be held on August 3, the main examination for Food Safety Officer-2019 will be conducted on August 4, Combined Police Service Examination- 2018 preliminary examination from August 5 onwards, Combined Police Service Examination- 2019 preliminary examination from August 10 onwards.

Staff nurse, ANM, Pharmacist, X-ray technician, ECG technician main written examination will be held on August 18, Junior Engineer (civil)-2019 main written examination on August 19, Junior Engineer (Mechanical)-2019 main examination on August 24.

Similarly, the main examination for Block Social Security Officer-2017 has been scheduled for August 25, and District Culture Officer-2019 exam on August 26. The main written examination for Assistant Training Officer-2016 will be conducted on August 27.  

The Commission said that the schedules of the examinations may change depending on the Covid-19 pandemic situation and advised candidates to visit the official website, www.ossc.gov.in, for more updates.
