The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced the schedule of the Preliminary Examination for recruitment to the post of Junior Clerks under the Directorate of Fisheries.

“It is for information of all concerned that the Preliminary Examination for recruitment to the post of Junior Clerks under Directorate of Fisheries, Odisha will be held on March 22 and 23, 2022 through Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode,” the OSSC said in a notice.

As per the programme, the Preliminary Examination (CBRE), the stage-I of the selection process will comprise of general awareness subject. A total of 100 objective-type questions will be asked in the preliminary examination. Each question will carry one mark. 

The duration of the examination will be one and half hours. There shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. 

Candidates can download their admission letter from the official website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in from March 17, 2022, onwards using their User ID & password. Candidates may also practice Mock Test by clicking on the link available in the Candidate's corner. 

PwD candidates having disability not less than 40 per cent and of permanent nature who seek for taking assistance of scribe may apply in the prescribed format along with required documents. They may send the application through e-mail to orissassc@gmail.com by March 17, 2022. 

“COVID-19 appropriate behaviour, like use of sanitiser, social distancing, wearing of 3(three) layer mask must be adhered to by all concerned during the conduct of examination,” the Commission stated.
