The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released an important notice regarding the conduct Main Written Examination for the post of Food Safety Officer-2020.

As per the latest notice, the main written examination will be held through Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode at different centres in Cuttack and Khordha district on February 25, 2022.

As per the schedule, the Paper-I (Composite paper) carrying 100 marks will be held from 10 am to 11:30 am on February 25. The reporting time for candidates at their respective centres is 8:30 am and the gates will be closed at 9:30 am.

Similarly, Paper II (Technical paper) will be held from 2 pm to 3:30 pm and the reporting time for the candidates is 12:30 pm.

Candidates can download their admission letter in the link provided in the Home page (What's New) of the website of the Commission -www.ossc.gov.in from February 21 onwards. Candidates can download their admission link using user credentials to appear the examination in the venue on the date and time mentioned therein.

“The PwD candidates who have opted for taking assistance of scribe in the Online Application are advised to see the Notice No. 3453/OSSC dt 24.10.2019, available in the website of the Commission and apply accordingly only through e-mail orissassc@gmail.com by 22.02.2022 in the prescribed format and also submit the required documents as pointed out in the Notice for taking necessary permission of the Commission,” the notice read.

OSSC has stated that no other mode of correspondence in this regard will be entertained and requests received after the said date will not be considered. Protocol of COVID-19 like use of sanitizer, social distancing and wear of three layer mask must be adhered to during examination, the Commission said.
