The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) on Tuesday announced the schedule for the conduct of the main written examination for the post of Statistical Assistant, 2017.

As per the latest notice, the examination is Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) and will be held in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khordha on January 28, 2022.

The examination of Paper 1 (Composite paper-English, Odia, General Studies & Computer Fundamental) will held in first shift from 10:30 am to 12 noon on January 28. The reporting time for candidates is 9 am as the gates at the exam centres will close at 10 am.

Similarly, the Paper 2 exam (Technical paper: Economics, Statistics, Mathematics and Sociology) will be held in second shift from 2 pm to 3:30 pm. The reporting time for the candidates is 12:30 pm.

OSSC has stated that there will be negative marking @0.25 per wrong answer in Paper 2 only.

The candidates can be able to download their admission letters from the OSSC website in the ‘What’s New’ section from January 24, 2022. The candidates can download it by logging in their application number and date of birth to appear the examination in respective venues and time.

“The PwD candidates, who actually require to use the facility of scribe may visit the Advisory Notice issued on 24.10.2019, available in the website of the Commission. They have to submit the required documents in the prescribed format along with the documents as pointed out in the Notice only through e-mail orissassc@ gmail.com by 25.01.2022 for taking necessary permission of the Commission,” OSSC notice read.

The Commission has cleared that no other mode of correspondence in this regard will be entertained and request (s) received beyond the said date will not be considered. Protocol of COVID-I9 like use of sanitizer, social distancing, and wear of three layer mask must be adhered to during the examination, the notice added.
