In a major relief for job aspirants, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) on Saturday announced the extension of the deadline for submission of applications for the Combined Technical Services (CTS) Recruitment Examination. 

The deadline has been extended by a day after many candidates complained about some technical issues while filling up the online form for recruitment. 

As per the revised deadline, candidates now can submit the online application form for 1226 Group B posts till December 11, 2022 (tomorrow). 

“It is for information of all concerned that due to some technical problem the OTP during online registration for the post of Combined Technical Services Recruitment examination is not being delivered to registered mobile number. So both the mobile and e-mail OTPs are now being sent to e-mail. Candidates are advised to use these OTPs at appropriate place during registration of online application form,” the OSSC said.  

“Further the last date of submission of online application form for the post is extended up to 11.12.2022,” the OSSC added. 
 Earlier, many aspirants took to Twitter to complaint against the technical issues affecting the application submission process. 
“OTP is not coming to Mobile Number to do activities in OSSC website. Sir, please give order to fix the problem,” an aspirant wrote. 

“OSSC website is not working properly from yesterday. We are facing problems for submission of CTS application as we can't receive OTP through mobile. Try to contact OSSC but failed due to busy continuously,” wrote another aspirant.

“Sir. The ossc website for online application for CGL and CTS is not working properly from last 10 days. The MOBILE OTP is not coming, that's why we are not able to fill up the form. A large number of students has not filled up the application form. so please resolve it,” a third aspirant requested.
