The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has rescheduled the main written examination to be conducted for the recruitment to the posts of Combined Auditor. 

The main examination which was earlier scheduled to be conducted on March 20 and 21, 2022 will now be held on April 3 and 4, 2022. 

"It is for information of all concerned that the Main Written Examination for the post of Combined Auditor-2019 ( Advertisement No. 4528/OSSC dtd. 21.12.2019) which was scheduled to be held on 20.03.2022 & 21.03.2022 is rescheduled to be conducted on 03.04.2022 & 04.04.2022," the Commission said in a notification.

The detail programme of examination will be intimated in due course, it said.

"The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in regularly to know updates about this recruitment examination," the notice added. 

It can be mentioned here that a total of 161 posts of Combined Auditor will be filled up under the Director of Industries and Finance Department through the recruitment drive. The appointment will be initially on contractual basis. 

As per the official notification, the Main Written Examination (Stage-II) will consist of three papers carrying 250 marks. The duration of the examinations will be 5 hours. Those who will qualify in the main examination will be called for Computer Practical Skill Test (qualifying) (Stage III). 

The Computer Practical Skill Test consists of 50 marks and will be held for one hour. Candidates two times of the vacancy category wise as per the advertisement securing minimum qualifying mark in the computer skill test shall be shortlisted for certificate verification, the final stage of the selection process.
