The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced the schedule of the much-awaited preliminary examination for the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination, 2022 (CGLRE-2022). 

A total of 1267 vacancies including 755 Group B and 512 Group C posts are up for grabs under the mega recruitment drive.  

The OSSC in a notice dated March 27 said that the preliminary examination will be conducted on May 14, 2023(Sunday) across the state through Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) mode instead of Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode. 

"It is informed to all concerned that the Preliminary examination for recruitment to different Group B & C state cadre posts/services advertised under the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination 2022 (CGLRE-2022) will be conducted on 14.05.2023(Sunday) across the state through OMR Mode instead of CBRE mode," the notice read.  

The government recruiting body said that it has amended Clause-4(i) of the advertisement to facilitate the offline conduct of the examination. 

"All other terms and conditions of the advertisement remain unaltered. Candidates concerned are advised to be in constant touch with the website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in to know any updates in this regard," it added.
