OSSC CGL 2022: Over 15000 applications rejected on various grounds, check details

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) on Wednesday released the list of candidates whose applications for the post of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Recruitment Examination-2022 have been rejected.

As per the notice, the applications of 15630 applicants have been rejected on various grounds. The list of the applicants along reasons for rejection of applications have been uploaded on the official website, www.ossc.gov.in. 

“The applications of 15630 applicants are rejected on various grounds as mentioned against each as per the list uploaded in the website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in for information of all concerned,” the OSSC said.  

The commission further informed that over 2.27 lakh candidates have successfully submitted their applications for the recruitment examination.

“Number of online applications successfully submitted for the post is 227278. Candidates are advised to be in regular touch with the above website of the Commission to know further updates on this recruitment,” the commission added. 

Under the CGL examination, the OSSC will fill up a total number of 1267 vacancies. While a total of 943 Group B and C vacancies were notified initially, 324 more vacancies including 56 Group B and 268 Group C posts were added later. 

Now, the total number of vacancies has reached 1267 which includes 755 Group B and 512 Group C posts.
