The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) is all set to conduct the preliminary examination for the post of Block Social Security Officer (BSSO)-2022 from November 3 to November 8, 2022.

However, the date of the examination clashes with the by-election to Dhamnagar assembly constituency in Bhadrak district on November 3.

In view of the situation, the OSSC has decided to offer the candidates from the constituency who applied for the posts to reschedule the examination.

“It is for information of the all concerned that the candidate for the BSSO Exam-2022, whose date of examination is fixed on 03-11-2022 and who is a voter of Dhamanagar (S.C) Assembly Constituency if desires to vote, his date of BSSO exam may be changed to another date,” the OSSC said.

Interested candidates have been asked to apply to the commission along with a copy of the voter identity card and admission letter of BSSO-2022 for consideration by November 1, 2022.

The computer-based preliminary examination for the post of Block Social Security Officer will be conducted across the State. The preliminary examination of 100 marks will be of 2 hours duration. There shall be negative marking @ 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
