The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released the schedule for the main written examination to be conducted for the post of Block Social Security Officer (BSSO) 2017.

As per the latest notification issued by the OSSC on Wednesday, the main written examination for the post of Block Social Security Officer will be held on August 25, 2018.

The examination will be held through Computer-Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode at multiple locations in Bhubaneswar. The OSSC has also asked candidates to strictly follow the Covid-19 guidelines. Use of sanitisers, social distancing and 3-layer masks have been made mandatory for candidates who will appear in the examination.

As per the schedule released by OSSC, the candidates have been advised to report at the examination centres by 8:30 am on August 25.

The gates of respective centres will be closed by 9:30 am. The examination is scheduled to start at 10 am and conclude at 1 pm.

The candidates have been advised to download their admission letters from the official website of the Commission, www.ossc.gov.in from August 18, 2021.

They can download their admission letters by using their application number as User ID and Date of Birth as Password.

“The PwD candidates who actually require to use the facility of the scribe may check the advisory published on October 24, 2019, available on the Commission website. They can submit the necessary documents by August 17, 2021 by sending email at orissassc@gmail.com for necessary approval and communication of the details of scribe to the concerned exam centre. Any application for use of scribe after the said date will not be considered by the Commission,” OSSC notification read.
