OSSC Announces Fresh Vacancy For Traffic Sub Inspector Posts, Online Application Begins Today 

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released an advertisement for selection of candidates for recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspector (Traffic) as Initial Appointees under State Transport Authority (STA), Cuttack.

Online registration, payment of examination fees and submission of application to fill up nine posts of sub inspector (traffic) have commenced today. The closing date of submission of online application is April 20, 2022. 

Minimum Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree from any recognised University orInstitution. He/she must have passed Middle school Examination with Odia as a language subject or have passed HSC Examination or equivalent examination with Odia as Medium of examination. 

Age:

The minimum age for the post is 21 years and the maximum age is 38 years as on 01-01-2021. 

Salary: 

The appointment will be initially as Initial Appointees carrying a consolidated pay of Rs25300per month in the first year. The pay is subject to revision as per decision of the Government of Odisha from time to time.

Examination Fee:

The candidates other than SC/ST category have to pay a non-refundable examinationfee of Rs 200. The fees can be deposited only through online mode using InternetBanking/Debit Card/Credit card/UPI/other available payment methods linked with the online application form. 

Selection Process: 

The selection of candidates will be based on Stage I (Written Examination), Stage II (Physical Standard Measurement & Physical Test) and Stage III (Certificate Verification and Viva Voce Test).
