OSSC announces Combined Technical Services prelim exam date, check details

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced the date of the Preliminary Examination of Combined Technical Services Recruitment Examination-2022.

As per a notice issued by the commission on Thursday, the preliminary examination will be conducted across the state on June 4, 2023 in one sitting through OMR mode. 

The preliminary examination comprises 150 marks of 2 hours 30 minutes duration. There will be negative marking @ 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.  

"Candidates concerned are advised to download their Admission Letter in the link provided in the Home page (What's New) of the website of the Commission www.ossc.gov.in from 25.05.2023 onwards by using their User ID & Password to appear for the examination," the commission said.

The commission said that PwD candidates having disability not less than 40% of permanent nature who had opted for taking assistance of scribe in the Online Application may apply for the purpose in the prescribed format by 30.05.2023. 

"No other mode of communication will be entertained in this regard. Any application/request to avail scribe facility received after the said date will not be considered. Under no circumstances a PwD candidate shall be allowed to use Scribe in the examination without taking prior permission from the Commission," the commission added.
