OSSC announces CGL, BSSO written exam dates; check details

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) on Wednesday announced the dates of two important recruitment examinations. 

In a notice, the commission informed that the written examination (Paper-I & Paper-II) for the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination-2021 will be conducted across the State from October 11, 2022 to October 17, 2022 through Computer Based Recruitment Examination(CBRE) mode. 

“The detail programme will be published shortly. Candidates are advised to be in regular touch with the website. www.ossc.gov.in to know further updates in this regard,” the OSSC said. 

Through the CGLE 2021, the OSSC will fill up 233 Group-B vacancies in State Cadre Posts as 'Initial Appointee'.

The government recruiting body also announced the date of the Preliminary Examination for the post of Block Social Security Officer-2022.

“The Preliminary Examination for the post of Block Social Security Officer-2022 is proposed to be held during 2nd fortnight of October-2022 (Tentatively). Candidates are advised to keep constant touch with the Commission's website to know further updates /exact dates,” the Commission said. 

The online application process for the recruitment of Block Social Security Officer is currently underway. The last date for submission of the online application is September 4, 2022. 

Through the recruitment drive, the OSSC intends to fill up 94 vacancies of BSSO as initial appointees under SSEPD department.
