In a good news for job seekers, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has enhanced the number of vacancies under the Combined Technical Services Recruitment Examination (CTSRE)-2023.

While 430 vacancies were announced earlier, 147 more posts and services have been added under the recruitment of Group B and Group C posts. The vacancies have been created for the Junior Engineer (JE) posts in the Engineer-in-chief, public health department.  

“All other terms and conditions of the advertisement remain unchanged,” the OSSC said in its notice dated December 26. 

The application process for the recruitment drive has already started from December 20. Interested candidates can submit their applications online by visiting the official website www.ossc.gov.in. 

The preliminary examination for the recruitment drive is tentatively scheduled to be held between February and April 2024.

•    Junior Mining Officer: 196 posts
•    Junior MVI: 48 posts

•    Laboratory Attendant: 13 posts

Age Limit

Candidates should have an age within the range of 21 years to 38 years.

Educational Qualification

Diploma in mining engineering/automobile engineering/mechanical engineering/ civil engineering/NTC recognized Board, Institute, or University.
