The High Court of Orissa has announced the final results of the recruitment drives conducted for the selection of Assistant Section Officer (ASO) and Junior Stenographer in the Court’s establishment. 

As many as 157 candidates have been provisionally selected for the post of Assistant Section Officer against the advertised vacancies of 202 posts while eight candidates have been found eligible for the post of Junior Stenographer against the total 29 vacant posts. 

The roll numbers of the provisionally selected candidates for the post of ASO and Junior Stenographer have been uploaded in the ‘Important Notices’ section of the home page of the official website of Orissa High Court https://orissahighcourt.nic.in. 

The Court, however, clarified that “Inclusion of any Roll Number in the select list shall confer no right of appointment unless and until specific appointment order is issued by the Appointing Authority.”

Notably, the Orissa High Court had invited applications for 202 posts of ASO from February 18 to March 20, 2021. The selected candidates will get a salary in the pay scale of Rs 35,400 – Rs 1,12,400 with usual Dearness and other Allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.

Similarly, online applications were invited by the Orissa HC to fill up 29 posts of Junior Stenographer from August 5 to September 4, 2021. Junior Stenographer will draw salary in the pay scale of Rs 25,500 – Rs 81,100 in Level-7 with usual Dearness and other allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.
