Orissa HC Recruitment 2022: Application Deadline Extended For District Judge Posts, Check Important Notice

The Orissa High Court has announced extension of the last date for receipt of applications being invited to fill up vacancies in the Cadre of District Judge through Limited Competitive Examination. 

The application submission deadline, which was scheduled to end today (February 21, 2022), has now been extended till March 8, 2022. 

As per the latest notification of the HC, the extension has been granted following a change in the cut-off date in the upper age limit of the applicants. While the cut-off date of eligibility was earlier fixed as April 1, 2022, it has now been changed to April 1, 2021. 

"In view of the corrected cut-off date of eligibility, the period for submission of application is extended. The last date of submission of application is March 8, 2022," the HC said.  

"It is clarified that the applicants those who have already submitted the application on the basis of the cut-off date 01.04.2022 as mentioned in the last corrigendum issued to the advertisement, but they are not eligible as per the correct cut-off date i.e. 01.04.2021, their application will not be considered," it added. 

A total of 19 vacancies will be filled up through the recruitment drive in the pay scale of Rs 51, 550- 1230-58,930-1 380-63,070/- with usual DA and other allowances as admissible from time to time. 

A judicial officer in the Cadre of Senior Civil Judge who has completed five years of qualifying service can submit applications through the concerned district judge/controlling authority and addressed to the Registrar, Examination, High Court of Orissa, Cuttack, 753002.
