The Orissa High Court has announced the schedule of the upcoming Qualifying Test to be conducted for the recruitment of 22 Junior Stenographer in Group-'C'. 

“The Qualifying Test in English Subject for the posts of Junior Stenographer will be conducted on 28.08.2022 (Sunday) from 9.00 am to 10.30 am at Cambridge School, Cantonment Road, Cuttack,” the HC said in a notice.

“The candidates are instructed to log in the official website of the High Court of Orissa i.e. www.orissahighcourt.nic.in (Recruitment Corner) to download the admit card,” the HC added.  

The admit card will be made available on the official website from August 18 (9 am) to August 28, 2022. In order to download the admit card, Acknowledgement Number will be used as User ID and Date of Birth as Password. 

In the qualifying test, candidates belonging to the General category need to score more than 35 while reserved category candidates have to secure more than 30.

Those who will pass the qualify test will have to appear for the next stage- computer test. In the computer test, candidates will appear for the theory and practical test of 50 marks each. In order to pass the test, candidates need to score more than 50% mark.

The final stage of the selection process is skill test. In the skill test, dictation of an English passage containing 400 words shall be made at a speed of 80 words per minute and transcription on Computer at a speed of 40 words per minute. There will be 5 minutes for short hand/dictation test and 10 minutes for typewriting/ transcription test on the computer. Total marks in this section 100.
