OPTCL recruitment 2022: Last chance to apply for management trainee posts, check details

The Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) recently invited applications from eligible candidates to apply for Management Trainee posts.

Educational qualification

Interested candidates should have a degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university/Institution or Passing of Section-A&B of IE (India) in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidate should have appeared and qualified GATE 2022 conducted by IITs and Marks Out of 100 should be mentioned while applying.

Age limit

The upper age of the candidate should be 21 years but not above 32 years as on August 1, 2022.

Selection process

The selection process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the Electrical Engineering discipline paper of GATE 2022 & Personal Interview.

Health

Applicants should have sound health and being physically & mentally fit in the Pre-Employment Medical Examination to be conducted as per the norms and standards of Medical Fitness.

Candidates selected under PwBD category must be within the prescribed normal range for all other physical standard.

Package

During the training period they shall be paid a stipend of Rs 50,000. Selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Matrix:- Rs 56,100 - Rs 1,77,500 (Level EE-2) with Initial Basic Pay of Rs 56,100 after completion of the one-year training period. 

On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as Assistant Manager (Electrical ) in level EE-2 in the pay scale - Pay Matrix:-Rs 56,100 - Rs 1,77,500.
