OPTCL Recruitment 2021: Notification Out For Multiple Vacancies, Check Details

The Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) has issued an advertisement for the recruitment of doctors as visiting specialists.

The recruitments will be for OPTCL’s dispensary, known as ‘Power Hospital,’ functioning in Bhubaneswar.

As per the advertisement, the last date to apply is December 10, 2021.

Medicine Specialist: 1

Paediatrician: 1

Cardiologist: 1

Orthopaedic: 1

ENT: 1

Qualification Requirement:

Medicine Specialist: MD/ DNB (Medicine)

Paediatrician: MD/ DNB (Paediatrics)

Cardiologist: MD (Cardiology)

Orthopaedic: MD/ DNB (Orthopaedics)

ENT: MD/ DNB (ENT)

Post Qualification experience of 2 years as on 1.11.2021 is preferable.

Upper Age Limit: 68 years

Period Of Engagement: The initial engagement will be for a period of 1 year. Further extension of engagement may be considered based on performance of the visiting specialist doctor and also upon requirement of the Corporation.

Remuneration: The remuneration payable to the Visiting Specialist Doctor would be fixed, within the ceiling of Rs. 4,000 per visit. Remuneration per visit would be revised by 3% every year if the tenure is extended further. In addition, the Visiting Specialist Doctor will get Conveyance Allowance of Rs. 500 per visit. However in deserving cases the remuneration will be revised

Selection Procedure

Suitable candidate from amongst the applicants would be shortlisted.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview.

Candidates are required to produce original certificates towards proof of age, their MBBS/ MD/ DNB certificates for verification prior to Personal Interview.

Filling-up of vacancies is solely at the discretion of the Management based on suitability of candidates & no claim will arise for appointment, if vacancies are not filled due to non-suitability/in sufficient number of candidates.
