OPTCL announces apprenticeship vacancy, check stipend and other details

Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (OPTCL), is one of the largest state-owned power utilities in the country, has invited application from promising, energetic and bright candidates for ITI Trade Apprenticeship.

As per the OPTCL advertisement, the apprenticeship will be for one year duration at different field units and offices across Odisha. The total number of vacancies is 280.

Already, the process for online application started from October 19 and the last date is November 18, 2022.

OPTCL Recruitment Vacancy Details

Name of the Trade / Discipline

1. Electrician: 240 vacancies

Educational Qualification: ITI in Electrician Trade

2. Electronics Mechanic: 40 vacancies

Educational Qualification: ITI in Electronics Mechanic Trade

Monthly Stipend: Rs 7,700

Eligibility Conditions

Age: Candidate should not be less than eighteen years of age as on September 30, 2022. Candidates who have completed Apprenticeship training as per Apprentices Act 1961 or job experience for a period of one year or more shall not be eligible to apply.

Candidates who are appearing for requisite essential qualifying examination will not be eligible to apply. Candidate applying should have the passing certificate / final year mark sheet of the required qualification as on September 30, 2022.

The gap between the date of joining in Apprenticeship Training and passing date of essential qualifying examination for ITI Trade Apprentices should not be more than 3 years and passed during Academic Year 2019-20, 2020-2021 & 2021-2022.
