The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the schedule of the written examination to be conducted for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Public Prosecutor.  

As per the notification issued by OPSC today, the examination will be conducted on December 19, 2021 at three centres in Cuttack. The examination will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm. However, differently-abled candidates will be allowed extra time and their examination will be conducted between 10 am and 1.20 pm. 

As many as 407 candidates have been allotted to appear in the examination at Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir at Tulasipur of Cuttack while 380 candidates each will sit for the test at DAV Public School (North Block), Sector 6, CDA and DAV Public School (South Block), Sector 6, CDA.

“The concerned candidates are required to download their "Admission Certificate" and "Instruction to Candidate" from the website of the Commission (www.opsc.gov.in) from December 12, 2021 onwards,” the Commission said. 

“The list of candidates admitted to the examination along with their roll numbers and centre allocation will be available in the website of the Commission (www.opsc.gov.in) from November 30, 2021,” it added. 

The OPSC had invited applications from candidates having a Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university and experience of 2 years as a practicing Advocate to fill up a total number of 46 vacancies.

The selection of candidates will be based on written examination consisting of one paper of 130 marks having objective type questions (MCQs) and Viva Voce test of 20 marks.
