The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has decided to change the interview dates of Odisha Civil Services (OCS)-2020 if it will clash with the upcoming UPSC (Main) exam set to commence on September 16.

OPSC Chairman Satyajit Mohanty informed the same after concerns were raised regarding the possible clash of the OCS-2022 interview with the UPSC Mains exam.

"Upsc mains starts on 16th nd ends on 25th.Hwevr, Odisha civil services interview is starting on 19th ( today mains result  declared). As d dates clash students ll suffer a lot. Hence OPSC sd reconsider and reschedule interview," wrote a Twitterati (Ashis Panda, IRS).

Later, replying to a Twitter user (Dr Ansuman Das), Mohanty wrote, "OPSC interview is likely to continue till 30th Sept. Candidates who appear in the UPSC Mains should make a formal request with copy of Admit Card to reschedule their interview date. We will reschedule accordingly, once date-wise list comes out..."

 

 

The OPSC declared the results of the OCS-2020 (Main) written test on Friday. A total of 785 candidates including 287 women have qualified in the exam. The list of roll numbers of qualified aspirants is available on the website of the Commission- http://opsc.gov.in.

The Commission also announced to conduct the Document Verification and Personality Test of candidates provisionally qualified in the written exam from 19.09.2022 onwards in the office of the Commission at 19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road, Cuttack.
