OPSC releases exam schedule and pattern for Odisha education service officers

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the examination schedule and pattern for the conduct of the recruitment to the post of Odisha Education Service Officers in group B category.

As per the OPSC advertisement, the written examination to the Odisha Education Service Officers will be held on November 26 and November 27, 2022.

The written examination will be conducted in five zones- Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur.

Time Table:

November 26: General English (Second Session) from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm 2:30 pm to 5:10 pm for PwD candidates

November 27: First session General Knowledge (Objective type OMR based) from 10 am to 12 noon. From 10 am to 12:40 pm for PwD candidates

Second Session (Education) (Objective Type OMR Based) from 2 pm to 4 pm and 2 pm to 4:40 pm for PwD candidates

Other Details: The written examination shall be objective type (OMR based) for subjects in General Knowledge and Education and subjective type for General English without any change to syllabus. There shall be negative marking for wrong answers in objective type OMR based test for two subjects- General Knowledge and Education.

As per OPSC, for each wrong answer 0.25 marks shall be deducted from the marks awarded for correct answers.
