The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited online applications for the recruitment to the posts of Inspector of Motor Vehicle/ Additional RTO (Enforcement)/ Assistant Works Engineer in Group A under the Commerce and Transport Department.

As per the OPSC advertisement, the eligible candidates can apply on the official website from August 22 and the last date for submission of online application is September 22, 2023.

A total of eight posts will be filled up during the current recruitment drive. Out of the total eight posts, three are reserved for women candidates.

Method of selection

The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts of Inspector of Motor Vehicle/ Additional RTO (Enforcement)/ Assistant Works Engineer shall be conducted under the following stages:

1. Written Exam: 150 marks

2. Computer Skill Test: 50 marks

3. Viva Voce Test/ Interview: 20 marks

The written exam shall be of Objective type/ Multiple Choice Question pattern and the duration of the exam will be of three hours. There shall be negative marking at the rate of 25 per cent assigned to a correct answer for every wrong response.

The candidates who will qualify in the written exam will be called for the skill test in computer. Place Of Exam The written exam will be held at Cuttack and any request for change of exam centre shall not be entertained, OPSC advertisement read.
