The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced revised schedule for the viva voce test of candidates for recruitment to the post of Scientific Officer in Physics.

The interview, which was earlier postponed, will now be conducted for three days on February 8, 9 and 10 at the office of the Commission in Cuttack. A total of 46 candidates have been called for appearing in the test.      

“It is for information of all concerned that, the Viva Voce Test for recruitment to the post of Scientific Officer in Physics postponed earlier is hereby re-scheduled from 08.02.2022 to 10.02.2022,” the OPSC stated in its notice. 

As per the schedule, the viva voce test will be held in two sittings per day. While the first sitting will start at 10.30 am the second sitting is scheduled from 3 pm. 

“The candidates are advised to reach the office of the Commission, at 19-Dr PK Parija Road, Cuttack- 753001 half an hour before the commencement of interview on the scheduled date & time positively,” the OPSC said.

“Every candidate is strictly advised to adhere to the COVID guidelines as notified by the Government from time to time while attending the Viva Voce test,” it added.  

Guidelines for candidates in view of Covid-19 

Covid-19 test report (RT-PCR) showing "Negative" (-ve) obtained from the authorised laboratories of ICMR within 72 hrs prior to the date of Viva Voce test to be brought by all the candidates. 

No candidate shall be permitted for Viva Voce test, if Negative RT-PCR report is not furnished. 

The candidates should carry his/ her own water bottle, sanitizer and wear N-95 mask properly. 

No candidate shall be permitted to the Viva Voce test without proper masking.

 Each candidate should maintain social distancing norm of 6 feet while coming to the Viva Voce test. 

No candidate would be accompanied by any guardian or parent. 

Entry to the premises will be for candidates only.
