The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has published an employment notification for the hiring of Medical Officers in Group-A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Medical & Health Services Cadre under Health & Family Welfare Department.
The link for registration will be made available on the official website- www.opsc.gov.in from December 27, 2022. The last date for submission of registered online application is January 27, 2023.

Scheduled Caste - 852 (284-w) posts
Scheduled Tribe - 1404 (468-w) posts
Total - 3481 (1160-w) posts
Educational Qualification
A candidate must have possessed MBBS or equivalent Degree from a Medical College or Medical Institution recognised by the Medical Council of India.
Age
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 38 years as on the first day of January 2022 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January 1984 and not later that first January 2001. Upper age-limit will be relaxed as per norms.
Salary
Scale of Pay: Rs 56100 in Level -12. Cell- 1 of the pay matrix as per ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual Dearness and other Allowances.
Examination Fee
The examination fee for all categories of candidates has been exempted.
Method of Selection
The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts of Medical Officers shall be made on the basis of Written Test of one paper carrying 200 marks.
