OPSC Recruitment 2021: Notification Released For 58 Post Graduate Teachers, Check Salary

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers under Science streams in Group B State service for the newly created 10 Kalinga Model Residential Schools (KMRSs) and Biju Patnaik Adarsha Bidyalaya, under the ST & SC Development Department.

As per the notification, 58 posts of Post Graduate teachers will be filled up in the pay scale of Rs 44,900 in Level 10, Cell-1 of pay matrix of ORSP Rules, 2017.

Out of the 58 vacancies, 2 posts are reserved for Ex-servicemen category, 1 post for sports person and two posts are reserved for persons with disabilities (PWD) whose permanent disability is 40 percent and more.

Vacancy Position:

Age:

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 32 as on first day of January 2021, i.e he/she must have been born not earlier than January 2, 1989. There is reservation as per the prescribed norms.

Educational Qualification:

-A candidate must be having a Master’s degree in the subject concerned from a recognised university with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate or Must have possessed two years integrated post graduate M.Sc course from Regional College of Education (NCERT) in the concerned subject with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate

-B.Ed or equivalent degree recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi with B.Ed from recognised university.

Method of selection: The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts shall be made on the basis of written examination and viva voce test.
