OPSC Post Graduate Teachers Recruitment: Latest details of written exam, timing

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has officially released the examination dates and other important details for the recruitment of Post-Graduate Teachers ( Group – B) in five zones - Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Sambalpur.

The OPSC recruitment of Post-Graduate Teachers exam are scheduled to be held on September 15, 29 and October 6, 2024.

The examinations are divided in three sessions and the duration of each exam is two hours long. The timings for the first session is from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the second session will begin at 12 NOON and conclude at 02:00 PM, and the third session will start at 03:30 PM and end at 05:00 PM.

Schedule of the examination

September 15: General English - I and General Knowledge - I (9 AM to 11 AM), Anthropology – II, Education – II, Geology – II, Logic/Philosophy – II, Statistics – II and, Urdu – II (12 Noon to 2 PM), and Anthropology – III, Education – III, Geology – III, Logic/Philosophy – III, Statistics – III and, Urdu – III (03:30 PM to 05:00 PM).

September 29: English – II, Hindi – II, and Sociology – II (9 AM to 11 AM), Chemistry – II, Economics – II, History – II, Political Science – II, Sanskrit – II, and Zoology – II (12 Noon to 2 PM), Chemistry – III, Economics – III, History – III, Political Science – III, Sanskrit – III, and Zoology – III (03:30 PM to 05:00 PM).

October 6: English – III, Hindi – III, and Sociology – III (9 AM to 11 AM), Botany – II, Commerce – II, Geography – II, Home Science – II, Mathematics – II, Odia – II, Physics – II, and Psychology – II (12 Noon to 2 PM), Botany – III, Commerce – III, Geography – III, Home Science – III, Mathematics – III, Odia – III, Physics – III, and Psychology – III (03:30 PM to 05:00 PM).

Candidates belonging to the PwD category will be granted an extra 20 minute for each hour to appear in the examination.
