The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has published the result of the written examination conducted for recruitment to the post of Medical Officers (Asst. Surgeon).

The written examination for the posts was conducted on February 20, 2023. 

As many as 1489 candidates have cleared the written examination and are provisionally shortlisted to appear for the document verification. 

The roll numbers of the successful candidates have been uploaded on the official website of the Commission i.e., www.opsc.gov.in. 

"On the basis of written examination, 1489 candidates have provisionally qualified to attend the Document Verification at the Office of the Commission, 19, Dr. P. K. Parija Road, Cuttack — 753001 which will commence from 16.03.2023 to 21.03.2023 {including 19.03.2023 (Sunday))," the Commission said.  

"It is also made clear that the candidature of above candidates for this recruitment is purely provisional. The candidature is liable for rejection in the event of inadequacy/deficiency found at any stage before or after the verification of original certificates/documents and is subject to fulfilment of terms & conditions as laid down in the Advertisement," the Commission added.  

The government recruiting body said the detailed programme for verification of Original Certificates/ Documents will be notified later and advised candidates to visit the website of the Commission at www.opsc.gov.in regularly to keep track of publication of various notices.
