  • OPSC notified vacancy for 351 posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Class II (Group B)  

  • The online application for the recruitment examination will begin on June 18

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released a fresh notification for the recruitment of 351 Veterinary Assistant Surgeons Class II (Group B).  

Interested candidates fulfilling all the eligibility criteria can apply for the posts by visiting OPSC’s official website www.opsc.gov.in. The online application for the recruitment examination will begin on June 18. The last date of submission of application is July 23 (11.59 pm). 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

A candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science or its equivalent from any recognized University in India or abroad and have registered himself/ herself under the Odisha Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1970. 

EXAMINATION FEE

A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs. 500/-(Rupees five hundred) only. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe of Odisha and Persons with Disability (whose permanent disability is 40% and more) are exempted from payment of this fee.

METHOD OF SELECTION

The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon shall be made on the basis of Written Examination and Viva Voce Test. 

The Plan of Written Examination is mentioned below. The course syllabus is provided in Annexure - A of this advertisement. 
The written examinations will be held in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
