OPSC Group B recruitment: Apply for Assistant Fisheries Officer posts, check details

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has officially released a recruitment notification for the position of Assistant Fisheries Officer (Group B). 

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and are interested in this role can submit their applications online via the official website at www.opsc.gov.in.

Total Vacancy: 62 posts

• SC Candidates: 8 posts (3-W)

• ST Candidates: 54 posts (18-W)

Educational Qualification

To be eligible, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Fishery Science (B.F.Sc) from a recognised university in India or from an accredited institution abroad.

Age Limit

Applicants should have reached the age of 21 years but not exceeded the age of 43 years as of January 1, 2023.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the recruitment to the posts shall be made on the basis of a Written Examination and Interview (Viva Voce Test).

Exam Centres

The examination will be conducted in Cuttack. Additionally, depending on the number of candidates from specific zones, it may also be held in Bhubaneshwar, Balasore, Berhampur, or Sambalpur.
