OPSC Assistant Conservator of Forests and Forest Rangers written exam dates and other details released

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced dates for the conduct of written examination for recruitment of Assistant Conservator of Forests (Group-A) (JB) and Forest Rangers (Group-B).

The examinations will be conducted from August 18 in five zones of Odisha- Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Sambalpur.

The OPSC Assistant Conservator of Forests and Forest Rangers written exam will be concluded on August 28, 2024.

The examination is divided in two shifts: Forenoon Session (09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon) and Afternoon Session (02:00 PM to 05:00 PM).

Candidates belonging to the PwD category will be allowed an extra hour to conclude their examination in both the shifts.

Schedule of the examination 

• August 18: General English (9 AM to 12 Noon) and General Knowledge (2 PM to 5 PM)

• August 19: Agriculture Paper 1, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry Paper 1(9 AM to 12 Noon) and Physics paper 1 (2 PM to 5 PM)

• August 20: Chemistry paper 1(9 AM to 12 Noon) and Geology paper 1 (2 PM to 5 PM)

• August 21: Botany paper 1 (9 AM to 12 Noon) and Agricultural Engineering paper 1, Chemical Engineering paper 1, Civil Engineering paper 1 and Mechanical Engineering paper 1 (2 PM to 5 PM)

• August 22: Forestry paper 1(9 AM to 12 Noon) and Mathematics paper 1, Statistics paper 1 (2 PM to 5 PM)

• August 23: Zoology paper 1 (9 AM to 12 Noon) and Agriculture paper 2 , Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry Paper 2 (2 PM to 5 PM)

• August 24: Physics paper 2 (9 AM to 12 Noon) and Chemistry paper 2 (2 PM to 5 PM)

• August 25: Geology paper 2 (9 AM to 12 Noon) and Botany paper 2 (2 PM to 5 PM)

• August 27: Agricultural Engineering paper 2, Chemical Engineering paper 2, Civil Engineering paper 2 and Mechanical Engineering paper 2 (9 AM to 12 Noon) and Forestry paper 2 (2 PM to 5 PM)

• August 28: Mathematics paper 2, Statistics paper 2 (9 AM to 12 Noon) and Zoology paper 2 (2 PM to 5 PM)
