Online Registration Begins For 2841 Group C Posts, Apply On osssc.gov.in  

The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) on Friday commenced the online application process for the combined recruitment examination to fill up 2841 Group C posts in various district establishments. 

As many as 529 Statistical Field Surveyor, 576 Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI), 538 Amin, 806 Forest Guard and 392 Excise Constable posts will be filled up through the mega recruitment drive. 

Scale of pay & conditions of service:  

The appointment to the posts shall be made initially on contractual basis on consolidated monthly remuneration and will be considered for regularisation as per the terms and conditions of the Odisha Group-C and Group-D Posts (Contractual Appointment) Rules, 2013. 

While Statistical Field Surveyor and Amin will draw a monthly salary of Rs 8,750, ARI, Forest Guard and Excise Constable will get Rs 8880 per month.

Educational Qualification:

The minimum qualification for the posts of Statistical Field Surveyor, Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI) and Amin is Higher Secondary Education (10 +2) while the qualification for Forest Guard and Excise Constable is matriculation or equivalent. 

Age Limit: 

The age limit for the post of Forest Guard is 18 to 32 years while for all other posts it is 21 to 32 years.

How to Apply: 

All eligible persons who have not registered themselves earlier for any previous recruitment of the Commission have to register for the post by clicking on the button, "Register" on the Home page of the Commission's website-www.osssc.gov.in. 

Those who have registered earlier and got the User ID have to login and re-register for this post by selecting the "Re-registration" option provided under the Applicant Menu. Then proceed to fill up and submit online application. 

Last date for receipt of applications: 

The last date for receipt of online applications in response to this advertisement is 21.10.2021. The system will be automatically disabled and no application for this post will be made available thereafter. 

Examination Fee: 
No examination fee is payable for applying for the posts 

Selection Process: 

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Tests, Physical Standard Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test.
