The Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) has invited online applications for the post of Assistant Engineers and Assistant Executives.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have passed BE/BTech/MSc in relevant discipline from a recognised Board/University.

Age Limit

The upper age limit of the candidate must be 27 years for Unreserved (UR) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates. 

The cutoff date for deciding the maximum permissible age shall be January 15, 2023. Relaxation in upper age limit for OBC (NCL)/ SC/ ST category will be applicable only for the posts reserved for respective category -

  • OBC (NCL): 3 years

  • SC/ST: 5 years

Pay Scale

Candidates selected as Assistant Engineers/Assistant Executives will receive a starting Basic pay of Rs 50,000 per month and shall be placed on training cum probation in the pay scale of Rs 50,000 – Rs 1, 60,000 as per Company Rules. 

In addition, DA (on IDA pattern), HRA/Township Accommodation, Perks and Allowances under cafeteria approach and other allowances/benefits as per Company Rules will be admissible.

  • SC / ST/ PwBD/ Ex-Serviceman categories: Nil

Selection Process

Selection methodology will comprise initial shortlisting based on valid GATE 2022 marks followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
