The Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) Limited, a gold category State PSU, has released a fresh advertisement to fill up 74 posts on regular basis though the walk-in-interview process.

As many as 10 posts of foreman, 14 posts of surveyor and 50 posts of mining mate-III will be engaged by the corporation through direct recruitment. Candidates belonging to Odisha are only eligible to apply for the non-executive posts.

Eligibility Criteria: 

Foreman- Diploma in mining with foreman competency certificate issued by DGMS. 
Surveyor- Diploma in mines survey/mining engineering from AICTE recognised institute with survey certificate of competency in mining survey from DGMS. 
Mining mate-III- HSC with Mining Mate’s Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS as per MMR 1961. 

Age Limit: 

Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 32 years. Relaxation will be given to candidates of reserved categories. 

Pay and Allowance: 

The scale of pay for the posts of Foreman and surveyor is Pay Level-9 (Rs 35,400-Rs 1,12,400) while Mining Mate-III will draw salary in the pay level-5 (Rs 21,700-69100).

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the posts can download the bio-data format from the OMC website www.omcltd.in and appear the interview along with relevant documents on the scheduled dates.

Date, Time & Place Of Walk-In-Interview 

The interview for the posts of Foreman (Min.) has been scheduled on February 15, 2022 at 8 am at Community Centre, OMC Colony of Regional Office, Barbil, Dist- Keonjhar while aspirants of Surveyor and Mining Mate-III will appear in the interview on February 16 at 8 am and 11 am respectively at the same venue. 

Selection Methodology:

Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of career marking and performance in the walk-in-interview considering the vacancies, percentage of reservation as well as requirement.
