As per the decision, the universities can engage a maximum of 20 retired employees. The concerned varsities can engage them as section officers, junior and senior assistants, storekeeper and in other Group D posts.

The recruitment will be governed by the rules and norms of the General Administration department and the staff will be entitled for a consolidated remuneration as per the wages fixed by the State Finance department.
