The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Odisha has provided a last chance to candidates for online choice filling to the candidates who have been shortlisted for recruitment of initial appointee teachers. 

Initially, the online choice filling was conducted from July 23, 2022 (10 am) to July 24, 2022 (6 pm) for allocation of districts to the candidates included in the Provisional Select lists. However, many candidates have not uploaded their posting preference yet. 

"Candidates provisionally selected for the post of Initial Appointee Teachers were informed through notice dated 22.07.2022 to upload their district choice by 24.07.2022 6:00 PM. Again, on 26.07.2022 candidates who had not uploaded district preference by stipulated time line were informed through Notice No. 18349, Dt. 26.07.2022 and also through email message & voice call to upload the district preference by 5:00 PM today Dt. 26.07.2022. Despite such repeated communication, some candidates have still not uploaded their district preference," the DSE said.

Publishing the list of such candidates, the DSE said, "The candidates as indicated in the enclosed list are given a last chance to upload the district preference by 11.45 am tomorrow dated 27.07.2022." 

Candidates will have to upload their district preference by clicking on the link named 'Upload District Preference' available on website https://dseodisha.in/which will remain live till 11.45 am today. 

"It is important to note that the district preference will be recorded/ saved in the system only, if the candidate clicks the 'Submit' button after making the entries. So, candidates should not forget to click 'Submit'," DSE said.

"Candidates not uploading their district choice within the stipulated date and time shall be placed to districts randomly as per vacancies available," it added.
