Odisha State Pollution Control Board Recruitment: Apply For Assistant Environment Scientist Posts, Check Details

The State Pollution Control Board (SPCB), Odisha has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Assistant Environmental Scientists (Group B).

As per the advertisement, 22 posts will be filled up under the recruitment drive. The link for registration, re-registration and payment of examination fee has been made available from December 24. The last date for submission of registered online application is January 23, 2022.

The selection will be based on a written test (CBT mode) and personal interview, the notification read.

Vacancy Details:

Pay Scale: Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42, 400 in level 10, Cell 1 of pay matrix of OSRP Rules, 2017 with usual dearness allowance and other allowance.

Essential Qualification: The qualifying examination is M.SC in the following streams/ subjects: -Chemistry, Geology, Geophysics, Statistics, Life Science, Environmental Science and Engineering, Environmental Science.

-Candidates with additional qualification like M.Tech , M.Phil, Ph.D and experience in the relevant field of Pollution Control will be given preference during the selection process.

Age: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 32 years as on January 1, 2022. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC/Women/ Ex-Servicemen and by 10 years for PWDs whose permanent disability is 40 per cent or more.
