The online application process for the recruitment of 244 constables posts (Communication) Of Odisha Police Signals Service is going to end tomorrow (October 4 ).
As per the notification of the Odisha Police Selection Board, the submission of online application forms, which commenced on September 13, will end tomorrow at 11.59 pm. Interested candidates can submit online applications through the official site of Odisha Police on odishapolice.gov.in or odishapolice.azurewebsites.net.
According to the notification of the Board, a total of 244 vacant posts of constables (Communication) will be filled up through the recruitment drive in Odisha Police Signals Service. The appointment will be initially on a contract basis under the home department of the state government.
Transgender candidates can also apply for the posts. However, PwD candidates are not eligible to apply.
a) Must have passed +2 Examination or equivalent Examination in Science with (1) Physics (2) Chemistry and (3) Mathematics of Electronics or Statistics or Computer Science or Information Technology conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education or by any other recognised Board or Council, or, passed the 3-year Diploma Course in engineering subjects approved/offered by State Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training, Odisha or by All India Council for Technical Education / University Grant Commission
b) Must have passed Odia as one of the subjects in the High School Certificate Examination or an examination in Odia language equivalent to ME standard recognised or conducted by the School and Mass Education Department of Government of Odisha.
Age: Applicants must not be less than 18 years of age and more than 23 years of age as of 01 01.2021. Relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to ST, SC. SEBC, Home Guards & Women candidates.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Bases Recruitment Examination, Physical Standard Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test.
The Computer Based Recruitment Examination for the post will tentatively held between November 15 and 20.
Candidates, other than from SC & ST category, will have to pay an examination fee of Rs 220 by online mode.
